openagent.email is free, open-source software with an optional hosted service. These terms cover the use of this website, the software, and the hosted service.

The software

openagent.email is released under the Apache License 2.0. You may use, modify, and distribute it under the terms of that license. The software is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.

Your responsibility as an operator

When you self-host openagent.email, you operate your own mail server. That means deliverability, IP and domain reputation, and compliance with applicable anti-spam and email laws are your responsibility, not ours. Don't use the software to send unsolicited bulk email.

Hosted Pro

Hosted Pro Early Bird is a one-time $30.00 payment for one year, with no automatic renewal. Early Bird customers may renew for another year at the $30.00/year Early Bird price. The following applies:

• Hosted Pro is purchased through a Merchant of Record, which is the seller of record for tax and payment purposes. The checkout page shows the current price before payment.
• A hosted instance is provisioned specifically for your order after successful checkout.
• Refund requests are governed by our Refund Policy. Where a refund is required by applicable law, it will be issued through the Merchant of Record.
• The hosted service may only be used for lawful email activity. If you breach these terms (including spam, abuse, or unlawful use), we may suspend or terminate your access immediately, and you remain liable for any charges already incurred.
• The hosted service is provided "as is" during the early-access period. We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service.

This website

The content on this site is provided for general information. We may change or remove it at any time. Links to third-party sites (GitHub, npm, and others) are provided for convenience; we're not responsible for their content.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, the openagent.email project and its contributors are not liable for any damages arising from the use of the software, the hosted service, or this website.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and disputes will be resolved in the courts of Singapore.
